L'exposition“Kaleïdoscope millénaire”, vous permettra de découvrir les artistes clefs Aborigènes de différentes régions de l'Australie avec une prédominance pour les artistes de référence de la communauté artistique d'Ikuntji. Cette communauté existe depuis 31 ans en Australie et continue de réaliser des œuvres fortes, avec audace et innovation en terme de formes et de palette chromatique.
A travers ces blocs rocheux comme suspendus, en apesanteur sous l'impact des millénaires d'érosion, partez au cœur du bush et des pistes chantées Aborigènes à la rencontre d’un courant artistique qui a changé à jamais la vie d’un des derniers peuples nomades.
D’un côté des peintures pourront exprimer les histoires ancestrales avec des symboles riches, presque naïfs. De l’autre côté, des œuvres offriront une vision abstraite, puissante, avec un style épurée où l’essentiel résonne et vibre sur la toile.

.... Nous avons également invité une jeune artiste Aborigène talentueuse, Naomie Hobson, dans cette sélection pointue. A 32 ans, après des débuts au sein du Lockhart River Art Centre, elle s'élance à son tour comme une artiste solo. Déjà elle figure dans les collections du précédent Premier Ministre Australien Tony Abbott.
