Elizabeth Mbitjana (1985) is the talented daughter of Kathleen Kngale. She has developed her own style which is quite different to her famous mother's technique. Elizabeth is quiet and shy, and for many years stayed in the background looking after Kathleen while she painted.

Several years ago, Elizabeth painted something very interesting on a spare scrap of discarded linen, and then immediately developed it onto a stretched canvas. The results were quite special. Elizabeth has produced some very interesting work and continues to develop her talent.

Her father is Paddy, a respected elder, and she has one brother, Matthew.
