Explications pour cette œuvre :

Fred Grant (1943) paints the well-worn paths of his upbringing, interweaving them into a myriad composition of linear harmony. Here, he depicts country associated with Wati Kutjara Tjukurpa (Two Men Creation Line) at the significant site of Kupanya. This is a far reaching narrative that follows two brothers, a sand goanna and a black nosed monitor lizard as they traverse Spinifex Country.

These are creation beings and as such created the landscape as they moved through it. They left the indelible physical reminders of the dramatic events that accompanied them on their journey and the moral framework that still guides Anangu today.
