The Burton Women's Collaborative consists of Angela Burton, Maureen Douglas, Cathy Burton. The women are the daughters and granddaughters of the late Kunmanara (Wawiriya) Burton, and learned to paint under her guidance at Tjala Arts. Together, the women paint to remember, celebrate, and pass on her stories.

In this painting the Burton women, have depicted their country. The different colours and designs represent variations in the landscape.
